Workforce Housing

The Abbeville County Economic Development Partnership conducted a Workforce Housing study to understand housing attainability across the county.  The consultant, East to West Development Corporation, recommended 11 practices from zoning code amendments to financing projects that can help make housing more attainable.  These are incorporated into the County’s vision for the future in the Abbeville County 2035 Strategic Plan.
